Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Acadiana is supported by Ochsner Health. Our modern and polished office is located in Lafayette's Oil Center. Led by Dr. Joseph Lupo, we specialize in aesthetic surgery of the breast, body, and face. Dr. Lupo is specially trained in breast reconstruction, particularly post mastectomy restoration, including the DIEP flap. Bringing his experience, expertise, and innovation to Acadiana; he and his team's top priority is personalized, compassionate care. JOSEPH P. LUPO, M.D.

Dr. Joseph P. Lupo is a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, after obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Biological Science from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Lupo completed nine years of surgical training; including a General Surgery residency, internship at Dartmouth Medical School, and a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lupo specializes in a vast range of aesthetic and restorative procedures of the breast, body, and face. He has extensive training and experience in breast reconstruction; including the DIEP Flap, body and facial reconstruction, and the use of advanced microsurgical techniques.
