Dr. Bennett Boustany Fontenot is a Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He believes in providing his patients with not only the latest and most advanced techniques but also the best outcome, regardless of the procedure. For him, it’s also about the experience itself, where he takes the time to make sure questions are answered and your wants and needs are accounted for.

Dr. Fontenot earned his Doctor of Medicine at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, after obtaining his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from LSU in Baton Rouge. He completed a General Surgery residency at Medical University of South Carolina, and a Plastic and Reconstructive fellowship at University of Texas in Houston. While there, he rotated at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he was trained in DIEP flap microsurgical breast reconstruction. He is certified by the American Board of General Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association. He is also certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Fontenot specializes in a vast range of procedures including, aesthetics of the face, breast and body, breast reconstruction-including DIEP Flap, full body reconstruction and advanced microsurgical techniques.
